Fascia restoration
Replace decayed boards that support gutters and edge metal.

Eave components
Repair or replacement of rotten or damaged fascia, soffits and eave components that support gutters and edge detailing.
What is fascia & soffit?
Fascia and soffit repair or replacement restores the eave assemblies that finish the roof edge, support gutters and contribute to intake ventilation.
Who this is for
Owners with soft fascia boards, failing soffits, gutter detachment or pest access at eaves.

Metro Vancouver climate
Chronic gutter overflow in rainy months is a common driver of fascia decay in the Lower Mainland.
When this service is appropriate
When eave components are damaged but the roof field may still be serviceable.
When another service may fit better
Combine with gutter or roof-edge work when those systems caused or will re-cause the damage.
When repair may make sense
Local repair when damage is limited.
When replacement may make sense
Longer run replacement when decay is continuous along eaves.
Scope
The actual scope is established after assessment. Revolin Roofing does not publish a one-size-fits-all price, lifespan or assembly because those depend on the building and selected system.

Questions
Fascia and soffit repair or replacement restores the eave assemblies that finish the roof edge, support gutters and contribute to intake ventilation.
The usual local sequence is gutter overflow or a failed drip edge repeatedly wetting the board through the rainy season. Once the paint film fails, the wood stays damp and decay accelerates. Fixing the water source matters as much as replacing the board.
Rarely well. Gutters are fastened through the fascia, so proper replacement means detaching and re-hanging them — which is also the opportunity to correct pitch and fasten into sound new material.
In most homes, yes — soffit panels carry the intake openings that feed attic airflow. Replacement must preserve or restore that intake; blocking it during a cosmetic upgrade quietly creates attic moisture problems.
Wood is traditional and repairable but needs finish maintenance. Aluminum cladding over wood resists weather but can trap moisture if detailed poorly. Composites resist rot with less upkeep. Exposure, budget and the home's architecture guide the choice.
